May 4, 2025 @ 2:00pm Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt (CFB Esquimalt) is Canada's Pacific Coast naval base and home port to Maritime Forces Pacific and Joint Task Force Pacific Headquarters. As of 2018, 4,411 military personnel and 2,762 civilians work at CFB Esquimalt. Tour of Naval Base for Probus members No one should be expecting to step on a ship….but attendees will able taken around and will be shown what ships are in the harbour at the time. It takes approx 45 minutes each way by car from Sidney and allow 1 hour for the tour. Identification is presented at the Security Hut at Base entrance. |
