Guest Speaker Brian Koval, Assistant Coordinator of the Peninsula Streams Society, spoke on the topic of “Habitat Conservation”. Rod McLeod introduced the speaker, noting that Brian was a native New-Brunswicker, and that he holds a BSc. In Biology from UNB, and a MSc. degree in Biology from Edinburgh University. Brian has worked in Europe, New Zealand, and North America, and is an active outdoorsman. His interesting and informative talk outlined the many activities of the society, primarily the refurbishing of fresh water streams to increase the availability for spawning.
