Last month's bulletin (June 2019) incorrectly named Peter Chance as Peter Finch. This occurred under his picture on the front page of the bulletin. Peter Finch was a previous member of our club who passed away in 2018.

Members were reminded of the planned August 14 BBQ at Heritage Acres and were asked to sign up with Mike Parfitt. Members were also asked for comments on the June 22 Solstice Dinner.
Miscellaneous Reports
Golf – The next tournament would be held at Cordova Bay Golf Course Thursday July 18th. 20 members are signed up, which is the maximum booked.
Friday golf - Ardmore will be at 10:00 am.
Hoppy Club – The next Hoppy Club meeting will next be held at 3:00 pm, Wednesday June 10 at Boondocks Pub in Sidney.
Executive Reports
President: Tom Wallace – Tom noted that the club plans to mark the 25th Anniversary at the August 14th Barbecue at Heritage Acres.
Membership: Andy Rosequist: Andy reported that the club has 86 member members and needs more.
Treasurer: Vic Swan - Vic reported a current bank balance of $399.70.
Speakers: Rod McLeod: Rod reported that the speaker at the August 1 meeting will be Brian Koval, sitting in for Ian Bruce of the Peninsula Stream Society. Speaker at the September 5th. meeting will be Bud Rollins, manager of the B.C. Aviation Museum.
Events: Mike Parfitt: Mike reminded members of the August 14th BBQ at Heritage Acres, at which the 25th Anniversary of the club will be marked. Currently only 22 people have signed, and at least 20 more are required if the event is to go ahead.
50-50 Draw: Administered by Alan Case: $30.00 was won by Jack Parry. Jack will be responsible for handling the 50-50 draw at the August 1st.
