Correspondence:
Probus Canada, would like to increase member fees from $3.00 to $4.00. It covers among other things, liability insurance for Probus sanctioned events, travel costs for regional Probus governors.
A hand vote count was held and overwhelming in favour of increase.
- SPEAKER. May 01, 2025 our speaker will be from Shoreline medical. The meeting will be open to spouses, friends, neighbours. A show of hands indicated approximately 20 more people would be in attendance.
- EVENTS.
- The tour of the Coast Guard Station only had 6 who attended.
- The April tour of Esquimalt CFB on April 12th, 10:am, only 2 signed up so far. Can take a max of 10 for each tour. If more than 10 sign up a second tour can be arranged for 12:00 .Sign up on Club Runner (CR). You will require your name, age and photo ID
- June BBQ is scheduled for June 19 th at Centennial Park. Need volunteers, otherwise NO BBQ. A call for volunteers will go out.
Executive Reports
- Past President: Don Lambourne Spoke of Don Malins who passed away earlier this month. He was a member since 2003, president 2008-2009, curler, played golf at Ardmore. The memorial service for Don will be at Our Lady Queen of Peace 849 Old Esquimalt Road, Esquimalt, on Monday March 17 th , at 10:00 am.

- Golf- Doug Watt- There is a list of golf events available for pick up. First event is at Highland Pacific, April 16 th . If you want notification of golfing events, please sign up.
