MANAGEMENT MEETING MINUTES

INTRODUCTIONS
Attendance: Don Lambourne,Doug Watt, Barry Hawkeswood,Brian Muir, Rod McLeod, Gord Skultety
Reading and acceptance of minutes of the last meeting
NEW BUSINESS
Club activities Don Lambourne.
Don proposed a policy change, person who wins the 50/50 draw, sells tickets at the next meeting, and the following month is the greeter. CARRIED
Activities coordinator, Barry Hawkeswood
Legislature visit update - It will be re-scheduled, however lunch reservations for the legislature dining room will be individually done.
Air Museum will be in the 3rd week of March more to follow
Other possible outings include:
- a visit to the horticultural society
- tour of the Ferry terminal at Swartz Bay
- visit to the Coast Guard
- visit to the Boeing Model aircraft site near the airport
- a visit to Applied Bio Nomics.
Dining Out
Nick Seiersen has written to members who are in the dining out group, and has the whole group at lunch as one sitting on February22nd at Zanzibar Restaurant.
Monthly Speaker Rod McLeod
Rod reported that he has Steve McNeil on February 01 from the Art Gallery of Victoria.
On March 7th he has Mr. Nicol from the Aviation Museum, to talk on the history of the museum.
Membership
Brian Muir reports that we have 2 new applications
Drew Meredith, and Mel Renald.
Moved by Brian Muir and seconded by Doug Watt to accept these 2 new members. CARRIED
