Annual General Meeting: called to order at 10:45 am
Executive Reports:
1. President: Doug Watt Thanked everyone for their participation, and assistance this past year.
3. Membership: Brian Muir 63 members

4. Treasurer: Noel Currie $2100. In bank. Last year took in $3895 ended year with a loss of $1249.
6. Speakers: Randy Mains next month’s speaker will be Alan and Barb Humphries Who will speak on “a road less travelled”

AGM Business:
MOTION 1 – Change to Bylaw #3 -Membership change to allow women to join the club. Moved by Andy Rosequist and seconded by Steve Holland.
Amendment by Rod Fimrite, seconded by Steve Holland to dispose of Motion 1.

MOTION 2 – Amalgamation
Moved by Don Amos and seconded by Noel Currie, “to continue exploring the possibility of amalgamating with the Brentwood Bay Probus Club.
Don Amos spoke as a rep for our club regarding amalgamation with the Brentwood Bay Club. At a meeting with the BB Club, we found that BB Club is also experiencing declining membership, as well as minor financial concerns.
-Brentwood Bay Club will be discussing their motion to amalgamate later this month.
If amalgamation is to go ahead it will take 6-12 months to conclude it.
Bob Phillips proposed promoting our club in the community instead of looking to amalgamate.
Andy Rosequist stated that our club needs more younger people in our club.
