Correspondence – Ron Gurney arranged for us to submit an article to Seaside Magazine.Allison Smith, the editor, reached out to me(Randy). I sent her an article which will appear in the November issue.
New Business
- I will describe the PROBUS club invitation cards which I will pass out. Everyone in attendance received an invitation card to give to someone.
- Call for volunteers for speaker’s role—why volunteering is important.
Who am I speaker—Barry Hawkswood spoke for 10 min.

Announce Executive Workshop October 15 th 2 pm—4 pm CHGC Banquet room Cedar Hill Golf course. Doug watt and Bob Phillips are going.
Don Amos reported that in July there was a meeting with the Brentwood Bay Probus club exec. The new president of Brentwood Bay Probus is willing to meet and explore the possibility of joining clubs. May also just want to do joint activities such as golf, dining out, etc…

Activity Reports
- Golf Doug Watt/ Barry Hawkeswood Friday golf still at Ardmore, moving to the Ridge November 7 th (?)
- Hoppy Club – weekly on Tuesdays at 3:00 pm, Mary’s Bleue Moon
- Wine and Dine Group – Gord Skultety Next outing is for dinner at the Riva Restaurant in Sidney. Date October 22-23 5:00 we will have 2 tables of 6 people at each sitting. Next month November 12-13 we will be moving to a luncheon. There is no December luncheon as we will have the Christmas luncheon.
