New Business
  • BBQ June 19th: 45 signed up BBQ going ahead Starts at 4:00 pm at the Picnic Shelter at Centennial Park. Everyone responsible to bring own plates, cutlery, glasses, beverages, etc
  • Nominations for 2025-2026 Management Committee
September 4 th is the annual GM and we are looking for new volunteers.

  • Treasurer:  Noel Currie – solvent ,about $1600. Balance in bank

  • Membership:  Brian Muir – 68 members, 38 present today + 2 guests
  • Speakers:  Randy Mains – Next month we will have as speaker John MacDonald, an astronomer, his talk is called “Planets, Planets”.
  • Events:  Michael McLoughlin there is a glitch with CR. He can’t see who has signed up for the Coast Guard visit. Please contact Michael directly.
  • Boat building tour in July more information to follow. Working on X-mas dinner location

  • Golf Barry Hawkeswood, Cedar Hills golf day is coming June 18 th . Friday Golf at Ardmore is happening every Friday. Contact Doug Watt if you want to be on the mailing list.
  • Hoppy Club – weekly on Tuesdays at 3:00 pm, Mary’s Bleu Moon
  • Wine and Dine Group – not running now
  • Bridge Season is finished, G.J. Droszio is the trophy winner this year. Jim Surgenor has resigned from the role of co-ordinator for Bridge. Thank you, Jim, for all the work you have done. Jack Parry has agreed to become the new co-ordinator for Bridge.
