- Recap on the BBQ. We broke even at the BBQ, Thanks to all the volunteers
- Nominations for the 2025-2026 management positions We are looking for additional candidates to assume leadership roles in our club. Please speak with Don Lambourne is the nominating committee for next year’s executive.
- Discussion regarding opening the club to spouses/women Discussion led by Andy Rosequist, who stated that the club is not sustainable in its present format, and that we should consider opening the club up to female members.
Don Amos then spoke passionately about the viability of the club and that we should make an overture to the men’s Probus Club of Brentwood Bay and that we should have a committee contact them and see where this would go. A committee of 3 were formed, including Don Amos, Randy Mains, and Doug Ross, who was a former president of the Brentwood Bay Probus Club, to contact the Brentwood Bay Club and see about amalgamation.

Activity Reports
- Golf Cowichan Golf Day needs more participants to make it a go, otherwise it may be cancelled.
- Friday golf group has had to give up their 4th tee time.
- Hoppy Club – weekly on Tuesdays at 3:00 pm, at Mary’s
- Wine and Dine Group – on hiatus
- Bridge- Jack Perry spoke Bridge Club will be starting up again in September. Contact either Jack or Jim Surgenor to get on the list for bridge.
