IN ATTENDANCE: Doug Watt, president, Randy Mains, vice -president, Noel Currie, Ralph Salomons, Brian Muir, Gord Skultety.
The first item for discussion is the budget for the next year. There was a discussion about the membership dues for the coming year. It was decided to increase the dues to $100. Per member.
Before the AGM a notice of dues owing will be sent out to the members, with the due date the AGM in September.
There are several motions which may be presented at the annual AGM in September.
- One is to amalgamate with the Brentwood Bay Probus club.
- A second one is to open the club to female members.
Ralph is to draft 2 notices of motions to be or (may be) presented at the AGM.
Christmas luncheon
We have 2 venues potentially booked for the Christmas luncheon: Mary Winspear and the North Saanich Yacht Club.
Decision will have to be made in September, which venue to choose, and the amount lunch will cost.
