Doug gave a very informative talk on the workings of BC Assessment. He spoke of the various classifications for properties, and gave a very funny anecdote from early in his career.

next month is AGM. A full slate is in place for the membership’s consideration. President Don mentioned that he would be looking into a caterer for the AGM.
President Don also mentioned the need for new members to volunteer on committees. We will need a replacement for Barry Hawkeswood on the events committee. More discussion next month.

• Membership: Brian Muir – currently 72, 41 in attendance today 3 new applications given out today.
• Speakers: Rod McLeod – Rod mentioned that he had sold his house and will be moving to Nova Scotia, Randy Mains will take over as Speaker’s committee and will be assisted by Rod Fimrite, and Steve Holland
