John Harper and Brian Pritchard will be our speakers on February 6th, describing their roles as volunteers for the Royal Canadian Marine Search and Rescue station 31 based in Brentwood Bay.  John is the current Training Officer and says, he is a "sort of retired" marine geologist that is still working on a few projects along the BC coast. 

Brian Pritchard has spent past 6 years volunteering as a crew member of Marine Search and Rescue RCM SAR 31 and is also trained as a Vessel Safety Checker by Coast Guard Auxiliary in 2006 as member of Royal Vancouver Yacht Club Safety Committee.
