CFB Esquimalt Tour - RESCHEDULED

Canadian Forces Base Esquimalt (CFB Esquimalt) is Canada's Pacific Coast naval base and home port to Maritime Forces Pacific and Joint Task Force Pacific Headquarters.  As of 2018, 4,411 military personnel and 2,762 civilians work at CFB Esquimalt.
 
Tour of Naval Base for Probus members
 
Groups of no more than 10 at a time.  20 people is two groups, one tour can be done at 2PM and the second one at 3:30PM on Sunday, May 4.  (Photo ID will be required…ideally passports work well but any government issued photo ID will do).
 
List of Names, age and citizenship with passport number if possible is required when registering to be submitted to the security folks  (Most important CFB needs to have the list of names in advance (at least 4 days prior to tour arrivals)
 
No one should be expecting to step on a ship….but attendees will abe taken around and will be shown what ships are in the harbour at the time. 
 
It takes approx 45 minutes each way by car from Sidney and allow 1 hour for the tour. Identification is presented at the Security Hut at Base entrance.
