Management Committee Meeting

In attendance: Doug Watt, President, Randy mains, Vice-President, Ralph Salomons, Don Lambourne, Noel Currie, Gordon Skultety.
Meeting called to order at 1:40
- As previously discussed the membership dues for the coming year will be $100.
- There will be 3 speakers who will give short talks on the subject;” Who am I”.
- There may be one or two motions presented at the AGM:
MOTION 1- Is to change bylaw #3 to allow women to join our club.
Should this motion fail then a second motion will be presented:
MOTION 2- To explore amalgamation with the Brentwood Bay Club
It is non-binding, a committee led by Don Amos is exploring the possibility of amalgamating with the Brentwood Bay Club.
- WE have 3 members who have not paid dues in 2024. Ron Barnhard, Bill McDonald, Don Stott
Moved by Doug Watt and seconded by Don Lambourne to remove these members from the club registry. CARRIED
- A cost saving suggestion was made and will be followed up. See if we can save some money on monthly meetings if we eliminate all but 2 tables (one at the front, and one at entrance).
