April Golf Tournament at Cedar Hill

Our first outing is this April 15, 2026 with tee times starting at 12:02.  We have reserved four tee times.  

 

This year's business arrangement with Cedar Hill is a little different.  We are required to register as an "event".  As such, we must pay in full before the event.  Green fees, including shared power carts and taxes, will be $88.45 per person.  Payment, via interact e-transfer (dougroyross@icloud.com) must be made on or before April 7.  If you haven't paid by then, you will be dropped from the tee sheet.

 

A couple of points to be made:  if you like to walk, that's fine but you'll still have to pay for the half power cart.  The golf course requires this to save 8 carts for us;  a decision will be made by April 8 to proceed with the event.  If the weather looks bad or we don't get enough people (at least three foursomes), the event will be cancelled.  In the event of cancellation, all moneys will be returned to the players via internet e-transfer.

 

The April 8 decision date is firm because if we proceed and we get rained out, we can't get our money back.

 

These stricter rules for groups at Cedar Hill is inconvenient for us.  If it proves difficult after the first outing, we may change our venue for the August Cedar Hill event.
